lyrics
Like birds on a wire
Watching the snow
Soon one will tire and
Fall to the earth below
Like stars in the summer
That died in the spring
A friend and his lover
Smile and take a knife to the king
The pieces of the world that I have won
I climbed inside a heart of oblivion
Shackled to the light of a dying sun
If this is darkness, brother I am one
Like blood in the river
That fades in the rain
Washed out to the ocean
I wonder if he was in pain
Like pieces of silver
Lost to the game
The familiar shiver
Of another hopeless exchange
The pieces of the world that I have won
I climbed inside a heart of oblivion
Shackled to the light of a dying sun
If this is darkness, brother I am one

It's only four tracks, yes, but it's four tracks of great cosmic psychedelia.

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points.
This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+... rick-taylor
Throwing softness and subtlety to the wind, Stockholm's Lowrider raze a molten, stoner-rock warpath, all fuzzy riffs and percussive grit. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 19, 2020
